Fulham need to start winning games - and fast. The west London side have just won three matches in the Premier League and, ahead of their clash with Spurs, were seven points away from safety.Newcastle’s 3-0 win over Cardiff on Saturday put a huge amount of pressure on Claudio Ranieri’s side. But that pressure wasn’t evident during their game against Spurs at Craven Cottage.Fulham were much-improved and took the lead thanks to an unfortunate own-goal from Fernando Llorente.Spurs did equalise shortly after half-time through Dele Alli’s header but Fulham showed a lot of fight before Harry Winks won it for the away side in injury-time.At times, though, that ‘fight’ was a little too literal.Aleksandar Mitrovic and Davinson Sanchez were involved in a constant battle throughout the game. But in the 74th-minute, it went a little bit too far.The Fulham striker had been frustrated by Sanchez’s strength and decided to perform a DDT wrestling move.It resulted in the pair squaring up both receiving yellow cards. Sanchez can consider himself very unfortunate, while Mitrovic was probably lucky to avoid a red.Take a look:

And it was something that football fans - and wrestling fans - very much enjoyed.

FOOTBALL FANS LOVED IT

Fulham will need that kind of attitude if they are to escape the drop.

Fulham remain seven points behind Newcastle in 17th and have just 15 games remaining to preserve their status.

As for Spurs, they moved four points clear of Chelsea, who lost to Arsenal on Saturday evening.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are still seven points ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United.
