Tyson Fury's corner were filmed throughout the 12th round of draw vs Deontay Wilder

Deontay Wilder v Tyson Fury

With World Boxing Council [WBC] officially ordering a rematch of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder, the boxing faithful are desperately hoping we get to witness another epic encounter between two giants of the heavyweight division in the upcoming months.

Negotiations are still ongoing but a deadline of February 5 has been set by the WBC for all parties to come to conclusion.

Their first meeting at Los Angeles last December produced an unforgettable, if not somewhat controversial clash.

It may have ended in a draw but it was nonetheless entertaining. Although, debate is still at large whether the right judgement was delivered that night.

However, a sensational behind-the-scenes footage has emerged of Ben Davison, Ricky Hatton and Freddie Roach at ringside during the 12th round of the contest, where Fury miraculously survived a huge knockdown.

Davison [Fury’s trainer] is seen in the video praying and pleading with the Gypsy King to hold on till the final bell, while Hatton was off his seat for most of time, yelling out instructions to Fury.

At one point, Davison was directing the Brit inside the ring to ‘run down the clock’ and was even heard saying: “Tyson, NO! You dumb f***!”, as Fury attempted to throw punches in the closing stages.

As soon as the bell rang, the entire camp left their seats, headed towards the ring, elated with joy, thinking to have secured the win.

The Gypsy King was knocked down in the 9th and 12th rounds but managed to remarkably get back up and continue.

And many people still had Fury up on their scorecards even with the late knockdowns.

The 30-year-old is believed to be insisting on having three completely neutral judges should a rematch be agreed, in the hope a fairer decision can be made.
