The Rock and Ric Flair are two of the greatest superstars the WWE has ever had. There's really no other superstars quite like them in the history of the business.
It comes as no surprise then that the two have recently shown love for one another and their respective careers in wrestling on social media.
The Nature Boy recently produced a promo where he spoke about how he wanted to be like The People's Champion in 2019.
He said: "Instead of being a kiss stealin', wheelin'-dealin', limousine ridin', jet-flyin', son of gun, I've decide to be like The Rock! That's right, it's 2019 and I want to grow up and be like The Rock!"
The Rock himself saw the video and responded to it by uploading it to his Instagram with the following caption.
He said: "When the GOAT @ricflairnatureboy - a man I met when I was 12yrs old and became one of my childhood wrestling heroes wants to grow up and be like... well...me 🤣🙏🏾
"Lotta love and respect for the “kiss stealin’, wheelin’ dealin’, jet flyin’, limousine ridin’ son of a gun” Uncle Ric. 2019 and he’s levelin’ UP!! 💪🏾
"And cheers to always having a hard time holdin’ our alligators down! #nocandyasses #woo"
It's always great to see two legends of the WWE respect one another, and hopefully, they'll be back involved with the company soon as we approach WrestleMania season.
Flair is usually around the WWE during WrestleMania week for signings. He hasn't been seen since Evolution reunited back at SmackDown 1000 last year in October.
The Rock, on the other hand, hasn't been seen in the WWE since he took part in an impromptu match at WrestleMania 32 back in 2016.
However, The Great One could soon amp up his appearances in the WWE as part of his promotion for the film he helped produce called 'Fighting with My Family', a biopic about the life of current superstar Paige.
He's also rumoured to be a participant in this year's Royal Rumble match this weekend at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, but this is unlikely to happen.News Now - Sport News
