Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the biggest fighters in UFC thanks to his big win against Conor McGregor last year, and now he aims to add three other huge names to his list before retiring.

Khabib defended his Lightweight title against McGregor back in October last year UFC 229, winning the fight via fourth-round rear naked choke submission.

Due to a brawl that took place between the two fighters and their teams after their bout, the UFC Lightweight Champion may have to wait until later this year for his next fight.

When he does return to the Octagon though, The Eagle has three opponents in mind that he would like to face, but not one of them is Notorious. The 30-year-old hopes to face all of them before retiring as well.

Speaking to Submission Radio, via BJ Penn, Nurmagomedov revealed that he wants to have fights with Georges St-Pierre, Tony Ferguson, and Floyd Mayweather before stepping away from active fighting.

He said: “I don’t know right now. But why not maybe [Georges] St-Pierre, [Tony] Ferguson and [Floyd] Mayweather, it will be these three guys and we can retire and become the greatest athlete of all time.”

Many UFC and combat sports fans will know why he wants to face these three opponents. Khabib has a long-time rivalry with Ferguson as the two have tried to book a fight countless times in the past to no avail due to one of the two being injured during the build-up to their clash.

As for GSP and Mayweather, they are legends of MMA and Boxing respectively, and picking up a win against either one of these would put Khabib down as one of the all-time greats, especially if it means he has his undefeated professional record intact too.

The Eagle said: “Georges St. Pierre is a very big name. I like, an opponent who is a very tough opponent and he’s a little bit bigger than me.

"And if we’re gonna fight, we have to fight at 155, because 170 is his weight and he’s gonna be a little bit bigger than me. And for me, it’s like a smart decision taking him to 155. And yes, he’s a very big challenge for me.

“Like, for my legacy, he’s a very good match-up for my legacy, for fans, for money, for everywhere now.

"And I don’t know about his future, about his plans, but I respect him. In my opinion, he’s the greatest athlete who ever competed in the UFC, because he’s a champion inside the cage and outside the cage too. And we’ll see.

"But if you ask me about Georges St. Pierre and St. Pierre, of course, I’m interested in this match.”

While a fight against Floyd might be a long shot, clashes inside the Octagon against Ferguson and GSP could definitely happen for Khabib before he decides to call it a career.
