Maurizio Sarri finally has his man in Gonzalo Higuain.Chelsea have been in desperate need of a prolific goalscorer all season, having scored fewer goals than any other side in the top six.Alvaro Morata clearly didn’t want to be at Stamford Bridge any more and is set to sign for Atletico Madrid.Meanwhile, the experiment with Eden Hazard playing as a ‘false nine’ isn’t faring too well.So Sarri has turned to Higuain. The pair worked together at Napoli with the Argentine striker scoring a remarkable 36 goals in 35 Serie A games. Is the 31-year-old to man to get Chelsea’s campaign back on track?Well, Higuain wasn’t registered in time to feature in Thursday night’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Spurs but he was in training following his loan move.Chelsea shared several images of him in training and fans were excited at seeing him in their colours.

They also noted how fit and in shape he looked.

Higuain has often been criticised for his weight throughout the years but Chelsea fans certainly aren’t concerned about that:

After completing his move and taking the number nine shirt, Higuain spoke of his delight at joining the Stamford Bridge club.

"When the opportunity to join Chelsea presented itself I had to take it. It’s a team I’ve always liked that has a lot of history, a wonderful stadium and they play in the Premier League, a league I’ve always wanted to play in," he told the club's official website.

"I now hope I can give back that trust Chelsea have shown me out on the pitch. I can’t wait to start and I hope to adapt as soon as possible."
