Another NXT TakeOver event is in the booking, and the ending of last night's show in Phoenix has certainly got WWE fans talking.

During the night, Johnny Gargano managed to defeat Ricochet in a Match of the Year contender, winning the North American Championship in the process, his first singles title in NXT.

In the main event of the show, Tommaso Ciampa successfully defended his NXT Championship against Aleister Black. He then stood at the top of the ramp holding his title in the air before Gargano joined him with the North American title.

What happened next, however, has got many WWE fans talking, as it could be an indication that three superstars will soon be leaving NXT for the main roster shows of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live.

While the sight of Ciampa and Gargano was the last thing viewers watching NXT TakeOver at home saw, this was not the last thing that happened in the arena, as fans there have revealed on social media that a brawl took place.

Ciampa and Gargano were confronted by Velveteen Dream on the stage. Adam Cole then came out and got in the face of Dream, who was then joined by Ricochet and Black.

In teams of three of Ciampa, Gargano, and Cole vs Dream, Ricochet, and Black, a brawl then ensued which spread from the stage to the gorilla position backstage as officials tried to separate the superstars.

Triple H then got involved to break it all up. Then, Dream, Ricochet, and Black made their way back onto the ramp and down towards the ring for a pose for 10 minutes or so, according to reports, to send the fans in the arena home happy.

However, some fans think there could be a deeper meaning to this, as they believe this could be the trio's curtain call in NXT before they are called up to the main roster, potentially as soon as the Royal Rumble tonight.

We'll have to wait for the Rumble tonight to see what happens, but by the looks of things, for Dream, Ricochet, and Black, their time in NXT is over with a switch to Raw and/or SmackDown now on the horizon.
