The pressure is mounting on Marco Silva at Everton right now.Fans have been growing tired of the team's performances in recent weeks, tumbling down the Premier League table and experiencing an ignominious FA Cup exit at the hands of Millwall. That latest blow against Championship opposition, which saw Murray Wallace score a dramatic winner, came off the back of disappointing defeats to Southampton and Leicester City. That's not forgetting the 6-2 humiliation by Tottenham Hotspur, failure to beat Newcastle United at home and only scraping past League Two Lincoln City by a single goal. It's left fans wondering just how much progress the club has actually made since the disappointment under Ronald Koeman and Sam Allardyce last season.

Everton's recent struggles

Silva - who had previously been relegated with Hull City and sacked by Watford - has come in for heavy criticism and certain factions of support are calling for his dismissal.

Former Everton defender Martin Keown certainly thinks that Silva is under threat, writing in the Daily Mail: "Silva is in trouble and there are worrying similarities from his time in charge of Watford.

"Silva has no excuses and Everton will not wait to see if he can turn things around. If Silva does not wake up soon, he could find himself out of the job."

Everton fan's Twitter video

It's certainly a serious situation and Everton fans are increasingly on edge ahead of massive games with Huddersfield Town, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Watford.

But it's fair to say that supporters aren't feeling very optimistic and that's summed up by a Twitter video that's gathering thousands of 'likes.'

Posted by Everton fan 'Adaml1878', it shows a number of embarrassing clips from December and the editing has made it a hilarious watch.

Using a black and white filter with a warped version of a-ha's 'Take on Me,' it's gone down a treat with football fans and it's easy to see why. Check out the full video below:

It's hard not to laugh.

The sheer number of errors that Everton have managed to wrack up since the derby defeat is quite astonishing and it makes for almost a minute of complete calamity.

And it sums up the situation at Goodison Park when you consider the creator and most of the people commenting are actually Everton fans themselves.

There has become such a disillusionment with the club's poor form that supporters have transitioned from anger to actually mocking the results.

Whether it means sacking Silva or not, change is definitely needed on Merseyside or Everton face another underwhelming season.

They're currently on a trajectory to fall further into the bottom half of the Premier League table and produce more baffling moments along the way.

Everton fans, do you think Silva should be dismissed? Have your say in the comments section below.
