Liverpool missed the opportunity to stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League to seven points on Wednesday night.Twenty four hours after Manchester City suffered a shock 2-1 loss to Newcastle United, Liverpool could only draw against 1-1 to Leicester at Anfield.Their lead at the top of the Premier League now stands at five points.Whether it was one point gained or two points dropped won’t be discovered until the end of the season. The truth is, though, Harry Maguire’s equaliser on Wednesday gave hope to City that they’re still in this title race. And right-back Kyle Walker appeared to show that hope in his deleted tweet on Thursday.Walker shared an image from this summer’s World Cup of Maguire talking to fans with the caption: “So basically they thought they were gonna go 7 points ahead…”Well, Walker thought it was unprofessional enough to delete it.And it seems it didn’t go down too well in Liverpool. On Friday during his press-conference, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was asked about Walker’s tweet and he reacted rather strongly.“I’m not sure what that says about us, but it says something about them,” Klopp responded.

“I’ve never celebrated when another team has dropped points or lost a game, it's not allowed.”

Interesting.

It seems Walker has got under the skin of Klopp.

But the German should try telling Liverpool fans that celebrating when another team has dropped points or lost a game “is not allowed.”

Liverpool fans everywhere would have been jumping for joy after seeing Rafa Benitez do them a massive favour and beat City on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, Walker and co. would no doubt have been celebrating when Leicester secured a point at Anfield and breathed life into the title race once again.
