WrestleMania is almost two months away, and as we rattle through the final two pay-per-views before the big events, stories will start to come together and new rivalries will begin.

And we are going to try and predict what bouts will be happening and who will be victorious come April 7 at the Metlife Stadium.

Last years event saw a total of 14 matches spanning 172 minutes, not including entrances and promos of course, with a two-hour Kick Off Show and a main show lasting five hours.

Our prediction sees 15 matches in that time period, so let's start with the pre-show.

WRESTLEMANIA WOMEN'S BATTLE ROYAL

Formerly named the Fabulous Moolah Battle Royal before fan protests over her past controversies, the inaugural bout was won last year by Naomi.

Made for the women that aren't involved in individual matches at Mania, we have a woman down to win who looks set for a big push in the coming months - Mandy Rose.

WWE officials are apparently a big fan of the SmackDown star, who was a runner-up in the 2015 series of Tough Enough, and this could be the perfect platform for Rose to get a big win under her belt.

Winner: Mandy Rose

CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - BUDDY MURPHY [C] v LIO RUSH v CEDRIC ALEXANDER

The 205 Live division continues to steal the show when it comes to pay-per-views, and the title match on the Royal Rumble pre-show where Murphy retained over Hideo Itami, Akira Tozawa and Kalisto was great from an in-ring standpoint.

Murphy's gone through the majority of the roster now and it's hard to pin-point a particular superstar who could challenge him at WrestleMania.

So we've gone for former champion Cedric Alexander who is always a guarantee for an excellent match, and Lio Rush, who is Lashley's manager and also a Cruiserweight competitor.

And perhaps it will be a surprise to many that we have Rush down to win the match, ending Murphy's reign at six months in an attempt to freshen up 205 Live.

Winner: Lio Rush [NEW Cruiserweight Champion]

ANDRE THE GIANT MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYAL MATCH

The men who aren't competing in any other match, and maybe a returning legend or two, will compete in this match.

We would also put Raw Tag Team champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable in this match, they may not be champions by that time but Roode could be a great lone heel so fantasy booking would have WWE start to show signs of Roode turning on Gable by eliminating him.

But it could be a match to give the rub to Elias, who has been floundering in the ring as of late, and with the crowd behind him despite randomly turning heel again, a win could be the start of a revitalised push for The Drifter.

Winner: Elias

LADDER MATCH FOR UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP: ANDRADE [C] v REY MYSTERIO v RUSEV v SHINSUKE NAKAMURA v JEFF HARDY v MUSTAFA ALI

The main show would start off very hot indeed, with a United States title Ladder match between six of SmackDown's best stars.

Not many can see R-Truth holding the belt for long, and one would suggest losing to rising star Andrade at Fast Lane in March or an episode of SmackDown, as it looks like El Idolo may face Rey Mysterio again at Elimination Chamber.

The six-way has potential to be a five-star classic, and we would have Andrade retain the gold.

Winner: Andrade [Retains United States Championship]

WOMEN'S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: SASHA BANKS & BAYLEY [C] v TRISH STRATUS & LITA

The new tag titles are coming into play at Elimination Chamber later this month, and we can see the 'Boss and Hug Connection' coming out on top should they qualify.

There's been rumours around for months that Trish and Lita will return at Mania though, and we're sure it would be an absolutely iconic match if it actually happened.

But to protect the integrity of the current stars, we would have Banks and Bayley retain the gold.

Winner: Sasha Banks & Bayley [Retain Women's Tag Team Championships]

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP: FINN BALOR [C] v BOBBY LASHLEY v BRAUN STROWMAN v BARON CORBIN

With this weeks Raw looking like a build to a potential title match between Lashley and Balor at Elimination Chamber, we would have Balor win his first title since his ill-fated Universal Championship victory at the 2016 edition of SummerSlam.

But with Braun Strowman not doing anything on our current card, we would shoehorn him in here along with Baron Corbin, who seems to be flavour of the month backstage, but not to the fans.

You'd imagine Strowman would be the favourite, but Balor would retain the belt due to the trio taking out the Monster Among Men outside the ring, leaving him unable to recover as the Demon King battles his way to victory.

Winner: Finn Balor [Retains Intercontinental Championship]

SMACKDOWN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: THE USOS [C] v THE NEW DAY v THE BAR v GALLOWS & ANDERSON

Unlike the Raw equivalent, it would be foolish to not showcase the talent that the SmackDown Live tag division possesses.

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have been an afterthought recently but we would bring them back into the fold in an ideal world.

They wouldn't be victorious though, as we'd have The Usos retaining.

Of course Shane McMahon and The Miz are currently champions but The Usos face them at Elimination Chamber - more on that later.

Winners: The Usos [Retain SmackDown Tag Team Championships]

TRIPLE H v DEAN AMBROSE

This fight was teased on Raw this week, with Ambrose getting all in the face of The Game and teasing him.

With everyone now knowing Ambrose is leaving the company after WrestleMania, it could be a good Authority against Ambrose storyline despite him being a heel.

Triple H always likes to get a Mania match as well, and if he's healed from his torn pectoral muscle and Batista isn't available, this could be the next best thing.

Ambrose being on the way out, you can't see him picking up a win here so it has to go to the Cerebral Assassin.

Winner: Triple H

SHANE MCMAHON v THE MIZ

As we know now, the new SmackDown Tag Team champions will defend against The Usos at Elimination Chamber.

But our prediction is a loss there will cause friction and the eventual heel turn of Miz on Shane, which will lead to a Mania match between the two.

And it would lead to The Miz getting one over on McMahon, five months after he interjected himself in Miz's WWE World Cup final match with Dolph Ziggler.

Winner: The Miz

SMACKDOWN WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP: ASUKA [C] v NIA JAX

With Becky Lynch challenging Raw champion Ronda Rousey, and the apparent addition of Charlotte Flair into the mix, it leaves SmackDown really short of female challengers for Asuka.

To work around this, Charlotte could be traded to Monday nights in exchange for someone like Nia Jax, who would then challenge the Empress of Tomorrow.

Despite the big push from WWE she's getting after attacking the men, Asuka would retain the belt and live to fight another day.

Winner: Asuka [Retains SmackDown Women's Championship]

DREW MCINTYRE v JOHN CENA

It seemed as though in late 2018 that WWE were going to strap a rocket to McIntyre and push him to the moon, but things have fallen flat recently.

They can easily restore it though, and having 16-time world champion John Cena put the Scottish Psychopath over on the Grandest Stage of Them All would surely make him a top contender.

Cena's Mania status right now is questionable but he will not want to miss it, and a singles match between the two would be a first-time-ever.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

AJ STYLES v RANDY ORTON

Another singles match with no title on the line, but one-on-ones between Styles and Orton have been scarce since the Phenomenal One's move to SmackDown in 2016.

We have no idea if Orton's currently a heel, babyface or tweener, but an angle could be set up inside the Elimination Chamber in a few weeks where Orton snaps after Styles eliminates him.

This could lead all the way to Mania, where two of the most decorated superstars of their generation fight it out on the biggest stage.

Winner: AJ Styles

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP: DANIEL BRYAN [C] v SAMOA JOE

Bryan's run as champion has been nothing short of genius, and with his new friend Rowan beside him, we would hazard a guess that he will survive the Elimination Chamber and Fast Lane with the WWE title intact.

But if there's one superstar on the blue brand who is deserving of a shot at taking the big one and running with it, it's Joe.

He's a master on the mic and he really should've been given the strap during his feud with Styles.

But it wasn't to be, however WrestleMania would be the perfect time for the era of Joe to begin.

Winner: Samoa Joe [NEW WWE Champion]

UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP: BROCK LESNAR [C] v SETH ROLLINS

Rollins officially challenged Lesnar this week, and we think he's the man to finally dethrone Lesnar from his reign of terror.

WWE wouldn't let Strowman do it, but Triple H is apparently really high on Rollins' push currently, and they should be looking to go all-in.

The fans will explode for the title change, and it won't even be the main event.

Winner: Seth Rollins [NEW Universal Champion]

RAW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP: RONDA ROUSEY [C] v BECKY LYNCH v CHARLOTTE FLAIR

As Sports Illustrated noted, WWE's plan is to have Rousey against Lynch main event WrestleMania, and that is fully deserved.

But Charlotte Flair is somehow expected to be added into the mix somewhere down the line, and some would argue that's a good decision.

The end result needs to be Becky capturing the title though, and the fans won't have it any other way.

Winner: Becky Lynch [NEW Raw Women's Champion]
