Inside Anfield captures Virgil van Dijk celebrating seconds before Sadio Mane's goal v Leicester

Virgil van Dijk during Liverpool 1-1 Leicester City

Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to five points earlier this week.

Manchester City looked as if they would close the gap to just a point on Tuesday after they went 1-0 up against Newcastle after just 15 seconds.

However, The Magpies would come fighting back, and shocked the reigning champions with two second-half goals.

That result meant that Liverpool had the chance to go seven points clear with a victory over Leicester City the following day.

And, like Man City, they too took an early lead at Anfield, with Sadio Mane netting after just a few minutes.

But they could not hold on to the lead as Harry Maguire scored just before half-time.

And that would be how the game finished as Leicester held out to secure a well earned draw.

It wasn't the result Liverpool fans were hoping for, but they would still be content with holding a five point lead over their title rivals.

As always with games at home, Liverpool have posted a behind the scenes look of the game against Leicester.

Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk celebrate during their win against Crystal Palace

And one of the highlights of the 11 minute video was Virgil van Dijk's reaction to Mane's goal.

With Mane in a dangerous position in the box, Van Dijk can be seen raising his arms in celebration before the goal was scored.

Seconds later, Mane's shot hits the back of the net, with Van Dijk then running to Mane to congratulate him.

It can be watched below at 6:05.

Weird. Van Dijk knew Mane was was going to score well before he did.

Another interesting moment from the video shows Andy Robertson's reaction in the tunnel at half-time.

Robertson has been imperious this season but it was his mistake that lead to Maguire's goal.

He gave a needless free-kick outside the box, with the resulting free-kick being headed in by Maguire.

And Robertson could be seen punching the wall in frustration as he made his way to the changing rooms.

That moment can be viewed at 7:12.
