Even though WrestleMania is still months away, WWE is turning up the hype for one of the biggest matches on the show.
Last week on Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch came onto the show and announced that following her Women's Royal Rumble win, she will be challenging Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship.e
Although it is yet to be confirmed by the WWE, there is a strong expectation that this match could main event WrestleMania 35 later this year on April 7.
Now, this week on Raw, Stephanie McMahon wants to get involved in the feud between the two bitter rivals.
WWE has announced on their website that Stephanie has invited Lynch to appear on Raw this week, but they didn't state what they had in store for The Man on the show.
The Women's Royal Rumble winner has since responded to the invite on Twitter with a simple reply.
She said: "Yeah, tell her thanks but I was coming anyway."
The Man also took some time to throw a shot at her WrestleMania 35 opponent with a brilliant tweet accompanied by a GIF of Rousey looking frustrated.
The tweet said: “Just heard The Man is coming back to Raw this week”
Possible booking plan
WWE added in their report about Lynch coming to Raw this week that The Man did suffer a knee injury thanks to Charlotte Flair on SmackDown Live last week.
With there still being strong reports of The Queen being added to this match, this could be where WWE makes the announcement, making the match a triple threat.
Charlotte could be added to the match as a failsafe for WWE to make sure Rousey still has a match at 'Mania, especially if they want to continue to use Lynch's knee injury in the storyline.
Nevertheless, if The Man's appearance on Raw this week is anything like what it was last week, WWE fans are in for a real treat this coming Monday night.News Now - Sport News
