Vito Mannone is open to extending his loan spell at Hull and has not ruled out a permanent transfer from Arsenal.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper is currently with the Tigers until January and could prolong his stay.
"I don't know what will happen," Mannone told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "If the club is happy and I'm happy, we'll sit down and make a decision."
Mannone has made three appearances for Hull, keeping two clean sheets and producing a string of stunning saves, but he revealed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger once had different plans for his career.
"Wenger wanted me to play outfield," he added. "Sometimes I even trained outfield to improve my game a little bit, and I did enjoy it.
"I only played one game outfield when I was five. I changed my mind and asked my dad to put me back in goal. From that time I never came out from between the sticks."
