Becky Lynch is the most over superstar in the WWE right now, so it comes as no surprise that the company is using her on all fronts when it comes to their product. The Man was invited to Monday Night Raw this week by Stephanie McMahon, an invitation which she accepted, but she didn't like the reason why she was called to the show.Stephanie announced that Lynch needs to receive treatment on her knee after it was injured at the Royal Rumble, but when Lynch refused it, she decided to suspend the SmackDown Live superstar. This infuriated The Man, and in response, she attacked Stephanie in the middle of the ring, until she was forced off by officials with her knee clearly limiting her.The attack caused many fans to see the similarities between Becky and Stephanie and the iconic feud between Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin during WWE's Attitude Era.

Storyline

Although Lynch has been storyline suspended from WWE action, she is still advertised for SmackDown Live in Everett later today, so it will be interesting to see if she still makes an appearance.

It's clear now that The Man's knee injury is going to be the defining story of the next few months and part of her WrestleMania feud against Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship.

Speculation about their match has been circulating for several months now, as reports have said the match could be changed to a triple threat match, adding Charlotte Flair into the mix.

Obviously, the knee injury is storyline to allow The Queen to be added legitimately into the match, essentially as a failsafe so that the main event of this year's Showcase of the Immortals can still go ahead if Lynch can't compete.

However, it was always the plan all along for Flair to be a part of the Raw Women's Championship match.

It also looks like though WWE is ready to have another version of the Vince vs Stone Cold feud, with Stephanie playing the role of her father and Lynch playing the role of The Texas Rattlesnake.
