There are already suggestions that Liverpool's challenge for the Premier League title is beginning to deteriorate.
When Manchester City fell to a shock defeat at the hands of Newcastle United, excitement amongst Kopites reached fever pitch and many were starting to believe that the title was coming to Anfield.
However, Liverpool have missed the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League, dropping points against Leicester City and West Ham United.
Sadio Mane had fired the Reds into the lead in both games, only for goals from Harry Maguire and Michail Antonio to deliver heartache across the two draws.
It gives City the opportunity to close the gap during their mid-week clash with Everton and nerves are already starting to jangle on Merseyside.
Liverpool vs Man City
Rival fans in particular are starting to wonder whether Liverpool are 'bottling' what, for many, seemed an almost unassailable position.
Jurgen Klopp admitted himself that Liverpool needed tor raise their game, remarking: “If you want to be top at the end of the season, you have to deal with much tougher situations than we had today.
“For the last five, six, seven weeks, we talked about a two-horse race but now Tottenham are in behind. For me they are 100% in the race.”
Liverpool fan reacts on Twitter
However, there are still three months of action to go and there's as much reason to think supporters are overreacting as they are genuinely worried.
That's certainly the opinion of one Liverpool fan who is going viral across Twitter, addressing claims that the Reds are 'bottling' their race with City and Tottenham.
In his defence, it really puts Liverpool's situation into perspective and goes to show that if they're throwing away their opportunities, then City aren't too far behind.

Well, when you put it like that.
The immediacy of the West Ham result makes it easy to forget all the disappointing results that have effected City over the winter months, starting with their defeat to Crystal Palace.
Liverpool are seemingly the victim of the fact they're sat in number one position, harbour so much excitement amongst they fanbase and had won every game against non-top six side beforehand.
That last point in particular seems particularly note-worthy, if it wasn't for the fact that their title rivals have actually slipped up in that department even more.
Not only that but Liverpool have been absolutely riddled with injuries with James Milner and Virgil van Dijk having to play through illnesses at the London Stadium.
The more you unpackaged about the situation, the crueller it seems to suggest Liverpool are 'bottling' it and only time will tell whether they miss out on yet another Premier League charge.
At the moment, the top contenders seem to be tripping over their own legs.
