All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is still a couple of months away from their first ever event in the promotion's history, but it appears they have their eyes on one of the WWE's biggest superstars.

If reports are to be believed, that said superstar also has their eyes on them as well.

WrestleVotes recently reported that AEW has made an “outstanding” offer to a current, big time WWE superstar, one which is almost too good to turn down.

While it's not confirmed that the superstar in question is this person, but according to one report, Randy Orton is interested in what AEW has to say.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has said Orton has been openly discussing his willingness to speak with AEW, but this is by no means AEW is tampering with current WWE talent.

Sapp stated as well that it's not clear if The Viper has been offered a deal by AEW, only that he is open with speaking with the promotion.

This would be one of the biggest moves out of WWE in many years, as Orton has been signed with the WWE since 2001.

Despite his age of 38, The Viper is still one of the best superstars in the WWE today, being a 13-time world champion.

Randy is a superstar as well that many would have never even bothered to consider him leaving WWE, as the company ruins through his veins being a third-generation superstar.

It would be quite the scoop for AEW to sign Orton, but he likely won't be discussing signing with them until next year in 2020 when his current contract with WWE expires, according to Pro Wrestling News.

The Viper will be involved in the WWE Championship match at Elimination Chamber on February 17 inside the chamber itself against Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, Mustafa Ali, Jeff Hardy, and AJ Styles.

Building up to this match, Orton had a match with Ali on this week's SmackDown Live, which he won, before he was attacked by Joe.

AEW meanwhile, are building up to their first ever show, Double or Nothing, which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 25.
