Liverpool now find themselves second in the Premier League table after Manchester City recorded a 2-0 victory over Everton on Wednesday night. The Reds have been made to pay after spurning the opportunity to move seven points clear of Pep Guardiola’s side last week.Following back-to-back draws against Leicester City and West Ham, Jurgen Klopp’s men drop down to second in the table for the first time since mid-December.However, they’re only second on goal difference and, crucially, have a game in hand over the reigning champions.Anfield has been rocking for much of the season but, as we approach the final few months of the campaign, a tense and nervy atmosphere has engulfed the stadium of late.Liverpool are at their most dangerous when the vocal fans are at their passionate best - it becomes one of the most hostile environments for opposition teams and players in the country - but the team often struggles when it goes quiet. With this in mind - and keen to ensure that unhelpful tension makes way for raw passion again - a group of Liverpool supporters have devised a plan to help the team finish the season top of the Premier League table.Just before full-time at Goodison Park on Wednesday night, The Redmen TV tweeted: “Everyone going on Saturday, no matter what stand you’re in, get in as early as possible.“There’s lads getting in an hour before kick off to get Anfield back to its best.“It needs to be as loud as possible for when the players come out to warm up. Get the momentum going again and get behind them.“Pass this about your groups and help us between now and the Wolves game.“In as early as possible with flags, scarves, rattles, voices, whatever. We’ve got a title to win.”

The Anfield faithful know they have a huge role to play over the next few weeks and are acting to ensure they give their club the best possible chance of finishing above Man City, starting this Saturday against Bournemouth.

The Etihad Stadium does not have the same raucous atmosphere as Anfield and this clearly gives Liverpool a potential advantage - as long as the fans get firmly behind the team again.

Expect Anfield to be rocking again this weekend.
