Christian Pulisic hasn't exactly been spoilt for game-time at Borussia Dortmund this season.

There was great excitement amongst Chelsea fans when he completed his move in January, but there was some trepidation about the fact Jadon Sancho had taken his place in the starting XI.

Pulisic will spend the final three months of the season in Germany as Dortmund vie for the Bundesliga title, before linking up with his new employers over the summer.

Although the hype surrounding the American has been fed back to the Premier League for some time, supporters haven't had the opportunity to see him play on a regular basis.

His recent performance during the international friendly at Wembley as well as a few Champions League away days have proven rare examples of mainstream exposure to English football fans.

Pulisic's first start of 2019

Getting anymore footage of Pulisic has proven troublesome this season, too, with the winger making just five starts in the Bundesliga and 12 in all competitions.

It hasn't been ideal for Chelsea fans wanting to track his final appearances in Germany, either.

The 20-year-old only played 14 minutes during the 1-0 win at RB Leipzig, before being limited to 25 minutes as the draw with Eintracht Frankfurt entered its closing moments.

Pulisic's highlights vs Bremen

However, that all change this week when, at long last, Pulisic made his first start since signing for Chelsea and was involved in a hectic 3-3 draw with Werder Bremen.

Dortmund would eventually succumb to defeat in a penalty shootout - Pulisic didn't take a spot kick - but their American winger still featured throughout the whole and even found the back of the net.

It was just his second goal of the season and aside from scoring, it was a generally impressive performance and his individual highlights have finally emerged.

Edited by YouTube user 'CFC Videos', it compiles all of Pulisic's touches throughout the game. The whole video can be seen here, including narrowly missing out of an assist at 0:43, fine dribbling at 1:05 and his goal at 5:20.

Promising stuff indeed.

Pulisic's performance somewhat stagnated during the second-half, but he was a constant threat during the opening exchanges and played a massive role in Dortmund's extra-time opener.

A common feature of his display was his immaculate dribbling, something that was very apparent in the build-up to his goal.

There is still room for learning, as shown by some wayward diagonal passes and trouble in the air, but the 20-year-old definitely has the tools to become a great player.

It also goes to show that Pulisic can impress when given the opportunities by Dortmund and for Chelsea's sake, they better hope he's given more minutes and continues to show his quality.
