Anthony Joshua has laughed off reports that he is intentionally avoiding fights against his fellow high-profile heavyweight rivals. Joshua, who is reportedly close to securing a fight against US rival Jarrell Miller in Madison Square Garden, has repeatedly been linked with a string of high-profile fights against some of the division's biggest names. Despite Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Dillian Whyte - and even a shock rematch against boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko - all being linked in recent months, Joshua's team is said to have had trouble convincing their opposing camps to meet over the negotiating table.Whilst some have put this down to potential fear from his rivals of the 22-0 Watford-born heavy-hitter, others have questioned Joshua's true desire to give the fans what they want - instead prioritising his undefeated record over a unification bout. Appearing in an Instagram live video with long-term friend 'David KD' however, Joshua certainly appeared to have little time for those who doubted him. After joking with his friend over who he should face off against next, KD - referring to the division other big names - fired back that 'They're all scared fam [sic], they've all got excuses!"Joshua was more than happy to play along with the joke, however, mimicking his critics and claiming "Nah, AJ's [Anthony Joshua] dodging everyone though. AJ don't want no smoke mate."Making reference to the recent claims from Joshua's bitter rival Dillian Whyte that Joshua has also been ducking a rematch with the Brixton man, KD joked: "You're scared of fighting somebody you already knocked out!"

With Joshua now being heavily linked to a US bout against Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller, Whyte himself has found himself the subject of a media firestorm in recent weeks over his next opponent.

Russian powerhouse Alexander Povetkin - vanquished by Joshua in September of last year - looks the likely favourite, whilst American Dominic Breazeale - also defeated by Joshua in June of 2016 - has also been linked.
