Manchester City utterly embarrassed Chelsea on Sunday afternoon by putting six past their west London rivals without reply. It was the first time in Premier League history that the Blues have shipped more than five goals in a single game. Raheem Sterling got things going at the Etihad after just three minutes when he slammed the ball past Kepa Arrizabalaga after some terrible defending. Within 25 minutes Sergio Aguero struck twice to make it 3-0 and Ilkay Gundogan knocked a fourth in before half-time.Things got even worse for the visitors in the second half as Aguero completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot and Sterling netted his second to round off the 6-0 thrashing. Obviously then, it was an afternoon to forget for Chelsea fans who have very little to smile about. But one moment from the game had other football fans laughing - and it came courtesy of referee Mike Dean.

After Cesar Azpilicueta brought down Sterling inside the box, Dean wasted no time in awarding a penalty.

It was a clear foul and Chelsea could have no arguments - but it was the way he flamboyantly pointed to the spot that has got people talking.

His actions were so great, that Sky Sports even went back to analyse the ref midway through the second half.

Refs often get a hard time from football fans and each decision they make is scrutinised. But this time, Dean's showmanship went down quite well on Twitter.

Brilliant. You can't help but laugh at these kinds of moments, even if you are a Chelsea fan that's just seen your team humbled by Man City.
