France's poor performance vs England in Six Nations has been summed up in one clip

If the France Rugby side didn’t want to watch back their game with England before, they definitely will not want to now after a clip has surfaced that sums up perfectly their embarrassing afternoon at Twickenham.

Yes, England were superb and simply blew France out of the water in their 44-8 crushing in the Six Nations, but France were emphatically far from their best.

Though, even if they were, it would still have been hard to imagine them getting anywhere close to Eddie Jones’ brilliance on Sunday.

Jonny May was the standout performer after his hat-trick, along with scores from Henry Slade, Owen Farrell, and a penalty try saw England cruise through to the most comfortable of leads.

It was a cold, wet, dark and miserable night for France, but the damp and dark conditions simply cannot serve as any excuse for what happened mid-way through the match against England.

A clip from the game has been taken and shared around social media that will not spare France’s blushes one bit.

As the ball is hanging in the air, seen only in the light of the floodlights, two French players collided with one another in the most comical of ways.

One of the players is simply holding his hands up as if to let everybody know that he would not be involved in this play.

His teammate, though, had other ideas as, still looking at the ball, he jumps into him and bounces straight back.

In the end, neither of the two French players were anywhere near the ball or the England player who inevitably received it.

Later that play, England went on to score one of their many tries to completely rub salt in the very open French wound.

England will be hoping for a similar story in their next match when they travel to Wales, although, you can’t help but feel like the talented Wales players won’t be running into each other too often.

France will be looking to rectify their errors when they host Scotland in their next Six Nations fixture.
