In Europe's top five leagues, only Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus look certainties to lift their respective titles.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham look set for a memorable race, Real Madrid are catching up to Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are seven points clear of Bayern Munich in Germany.

In terms of players, the big hitters have been out in full force across Europe's top five leagues once again.

Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mohamed Salah and and Kylian Mbappe have all been on fire in front of goal, despite all playing at the World Cup in the summer.

But where do that quartet rank in the top 10 players of the 2018/19 season from a statical standpoint?

That's right, Neymar leads the way, with the Brazilian on fire in Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain before his unfortunate metatarsal injury.

His partners in crime Mbappe and Edinson Cavani sit in third and eighth, with Messi in second and Ronaldo in fourth.

Eden Hazard is the highest rated player from the Premier League in sixth, with his brother Thorgan the top and only player from the Bundesliga in ninth.

Raheem Sterling and Salah are the other Premier Leaguestars to make the cut, with no room for the division's top scorer Sergio Aguero.

But the big surprise? Nimes midfielder Teji Savanier in fifth, completing a quartet of players from the French top-flight - the most represented league.

The 27-year-old has eight assists to his name, with Nimes currently 11th in the table.
