Notts County boss Paul Ince will have Lee Hughes and Sam Sodje back in contention when his former club MK Dons arrive at Meadow Lane.

The Magpies have not played since beating Swindon at home on November 23, when Hughes came off the bench midway through the second half to score a late winner.

The veteran striker has now recovered from a bout of illness and a little niggle and could start his first game for a month.

Sodje is fit again following a troublesome knee injury. The defender, Ince`s first signing as Notts manager at the start of November, has managed only five minutes in the FA Cup tie with Gateshead so far.

Striker Luke Rodgers is a doubt with an ankle problem.

MK Dons will begin life without Jermaine Easter when they come up against former boss Ince.

Easter left stadium:mk to join Swansea on loan deadline day at the end of last month, but Karl Robinson`s side have not been in action since a 4-1 defeat at Huddersfield on November 23.

Midfielder Luke Chadwick is back to face the Magpies after a one-game suspension while defender Jude Stirling has returned to light training.

A serious groin injury has kept the versatile Stirling out of action since a loan spell at Grimsby last April but the popular figure could be back in the new year.

On-loan QPR forward Angelo Balanta has had ankle surgery which will rule him out for four months and Sam Baldock is another striker sidelined by an ankle injury.
