Daniel Bryan signed a new deal with WWE last year, and since then, the company has pushed him heavily in the main event scene.
Bryan won the WWE Championship for the fourth time in his career back in November vs AJ Styles on an episode of SmackDown, turning heel in the process for the first time since October 2012.

Those fans that have been wondering how much longer Bryan will be with the WWE for don't need to worry any longer.
During this week's episode of Total Bellas, via Wrestling Inc, the WWE Champion revealed exactly how long his latest deal with the company which he signed in September last year is.
Bryan stated that he signed a three-year guaranteed contract with WWE back in September, meaning he will be with the company until the fall of 2021.
Bryan's Future
Looks like the five-time world champion is going to be with the WWE for many years to come, which is great to see after, during parts of last year, it looked like he might be leaving the company.
Despite being a heel, Daniel is one of the most popular superstars in the WWE today and will likely have an interesting WrestleMania 35 storyline as a result, although there are currently no reports about who he will be facing at the event.
The WWE Champion is currently scheduled to defend his title this weekend at Elimination Chamber. It will be an Elimination Chamber match against Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Jeff Hardy.
Bryan had the chance to enter the Chamber last this Sunday by winning a Gauntlet match against the other superstars in the WWE title match on SmackDown this week, but he lost in the opening match against Kingston. The match was eventually won by Orton.
However, Daniel is the current favourite to walk out of the Chamber as WWE Champion this weekend.
He is already advertised to defend the WWE title against Joe and Styles in a triple threat at WWE Fastlane in March as well, which is the final pay-per-view before WrestleMania 35.
