When Seth Rollins won the Royal Rumble in January, many thought he was going to be the man to finally dethrone Brock Lesnar of the Universal Championship.

But when he missed a live event the following weekend, concerns were raised by WWE fans.

They had a right to be concerned as well, as it was outed that owing to a back injury, Rollins had been pulled from all competitive appearances for at least a month.

Sources indicated that it wasn't a long-term problem at the time, not like the knee injuries which forced him out of WrestleMania in 2016 and came close to jeopardising his match with Triple H in 2017.

Providing that he takes the right precautions, Rollins should be fit and raring to take multiple suplexes from Lesnar.

And there's seemingly been another positive update when it comes to his health.

Per Cultaholic, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter have stated: "His back has been hurting for some time.

"Leading into the Royal Rumble, he knew he needed to take time off after the show for it to heal. He could wrestle right now if needed, but it’s felt it’s better for him to rest and heal than to make it worse given his position at WrestleMania.

"The idea is they want him as close to 100 per cent as possible for WrestleMania."

Whilst it's good news that the Kingslayer will be fine for Mania, Raw could really do with him for a match or two as they're struggling with star power as it is right now in the ring.

It looks like finally WWE are taking the safe and sensible option with one of the main events for the big event locked in, and with several live events on top of Raw, SmackDown and pay-per-views before April 7, they can not risk losing such a talent long-term.

Lets hope Seth suffers no setbacks along the way as we are just over seven weeks again from WWE returning to the Grandest Stage of Them All.
