The dominant Cris Cyborg had been on a tear-up in the UFC since her arrival in 2016 from Invicta. But in December she finally met her match in the form of Amanda Nunes. Her fellow Brazilian went face-to-face with her in Las Vegas for Cyborg's Featherweight championship, and it took only 51 seconds for The Lioness to pick up a mammoth win and become a two-weight world champion.Cyborg's future came into question following the shock loss. The manner of defeat meant an immediate rematch was not an option, and with only one fight left on her contract, her UFC career going forward is unclear. So when Cyborg was pictured at the WWE Performance Center last month, it raised yet more speculation.

She's now revealed that she wasn't there to train, she was just merely in the area and decided to get people talking - and boy did she do that.

The one name that came to people's minds when they saw the photo was Ronda Rousey.

After failing to get into the Octagon together during their time in the UFC, there's every chance that the pairing could go one-on-one inside the squared circle instead.

Speaking to MMA Fighting about the possibilities of one day crossing over into sports entertainment, Cyborg stated that she would be up for the challenge.

She also believes that a huge amount of people would pay to watch herself and Ronda finally face-off, it could be even more entertaining in a wrestling ring than it could have ever been inside a cage.

Cyborg is definitely up for joining forces with WWE in the future though, and at 33 years old, age is on her side.

With heavyweight Cain Velasquez also expressing interest in heading over to Vince McMahon's company, WWE could soon have four former UFC world champions on their main roster to go with the two they already have in Rousey and Brock Lesnar.

And could you imagine two blockbuster fights for WrestleMania 36 in 2020 - Cain v Lesnar 2 and the first-time-ever between Rousey and Cyborg?

Fantasy booking at its finest.
