WWE wants you to make sure that you don't forget about the angle between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch from this week's Monday Night Raw despite the fact that neither of them will be competing at Elimination Chamber later today.

That's why an angle took place between the two superstars at a recent SmackDown live event which resulted in The Man 're-injuring' her knee.

The angle took place during the match between Flair and SmackDown Women's Champion Asuka at the Rapides Parish Coliseum in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Over the past few weeks at live events, Becky has been running in on Charlotte and Asuka's matches and she did the same Saturday night. This time though, The Queen was ready for her.

Flair attacked Lynch, focusing all her attacks on The Man's bad knee, and even at one point using a chair before WWE officials interfered. She then attacked the knee again as Becky was making her way back to the locker rooms.

SmackDown live event attack

WWE has since followed this confrontation up with a post on their website, stating that they'll provide updates on The Man's injury situation once they become available.

No doubt this, along with what happened on Monday Night Raw this week, will be referenced to at Elimination Chamber tonight during the event.

Vince McMahon suspended Lynch for 60-days on Raw this week, and shortly afterward, he announced that Flair will be filling in for Lynch at WrestleMania 35 in the Raw Women's Championship match vs Ronda Rousey.

On SmackDown the following night, Charlotte revealed that she would be in the front row at Elimination Chamber tonight to watch Rousey's Raw Women's title defense against Ruby Riott.

She also stated that she would be dedicating her title match at The Showcase of the Immortals later this year to The Man.

It will be interesting to see if an angle goes down between Rousey and Flair at Elimination Chamber tonight, as the two haven't really been seen face to face since their match at Survivor Series last year.

It will also be interesting to see if Becky appears on the show tonight, or if this re-aggravating injury angle from last night's SmackDown live event has been done to sideline her for a couple of weeks.
