How were Manchester United going to bounce back from their Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain last week?United’s 2-0 loss to PSG was the first under the guidance of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. And with both Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard picking up injuries during that defeat, their trip to Chelsea for the FA Cup fifth round clash appeared problematic. But there were absolutely no problems for the away side during the 90 minutes.Headers from Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba gave Solskjaer’s side a 2-0 lead at half-time - a lead in which they held onto. They even had time to bring on Alexis Sanchez with 20 minutes remaining. The Chilean has struggled for the Old Trafford club since signing from Arsenal, despite being paid £500,000-per-week.But it seems he still has the backing of his teammates. Well, Ander Herrera especially. In a BBC interview earlier this week, Herrera gave his full backing to Sanchez despite his nightmare spell."He wants to be important for the club and I'm sure he's going to be. The only thing we can tell him is that we all believe in his qualities, we know what he has,” Herrera said.

"We all know what he is capable of, and he's going to do it, so you will see it soon. I think he should be very calm, because he has everything to be a top player in this club and he will be."

And after United’s 2-0 win against Chelsea, Herrera immediately went to Sanchez and can be seen speaking to him and shaking him.

He then gives him a big shove and a hug, clearly congratulating the player for his cameo appearance.

Class.

It was something that United fans spotted and they loved Herrera for it.

Herrara actually spoke about Alexis in his post-match press conference.

“But I would also like to speak about Alexis (Sanchez), Andreas (Pereira) and Scott (McTominay) the way they came into the game,” the Spaniard said.

“And a world-class player like Alexis. The way he fought, this is Manchester United and it is what you want."
