Big European nights at Anfield are always special occasions - and the Liverpool fans were in typically fine voice ahead of this evening’s Champions League last-16 first leg against Bayern Munich.
With several players ruled out - including their talismanic centre-back Virgil van Dijk - the Reds needed their passionate supporters to act as the 12th man against one of the most formidable teams left in the competition.
And ahead of kick-off, it’s fair to say they did not disappoint.
