Jordan Henderson produced one of his best performances in a Liverpool shirt during Tuesday night's 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich.Starting alongside Naby Keita and Georginio Wijnaldum, the Liverpool captain worked tirelessly throughout the 90 minutes to keep and win possession for his side.Henderson has been accused of playing too many sidewards passes throughout his career, but that was far from the case on his occasion.Every time he received the ball he looked to switch play to Liverpool's full-backs to stretch Bayern's defence or put one of his attacking teammates in behind.Indeed, his 50-yard pass to Mohamed Salah in the 12th minute that almost resulted in a goal for the Egyptian was inch perfect.Henderson was so good against Bayern that when Jurgen Klopp was asked after the game about Fabinho's performance at centre-back, he quickly focused on his skipper instead."Oh, together with Joel [Matip] it was really good," said the German, "and then Hendo, woof, in front of the two [centre-backs] he was really, really strong."Liverpool travel to Germany for the second leg against Bayern in three weeks' time and Henderson will surely have earned a starting role at the Allianz Arena.A short highlights reel has now emerged of the 28-year-old's display and it shows just how good he was, from spraying 50-yard passes to dispossessing the likes of Serge Gnabry and Thiago.

Despite the second leg being away from home, Liverpool have a great chance of progressing to the Champions League quarter-finals and Henderson is confident they can achieve that.

"It's still alive," he told BT Sport in a post-match interview. "We've got games before the second leg. We've got to be confident.

"It will be tough, but we have experience in the Champions League. We can go there and hurt them."
