Europa League last 16 in full as Arsenal draw Rennes and Chelsea get Dynamo Kiev

Chelsea progressed to the Europa League last 16 on Thursday night after defeating Malmo 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Olivier Giroud, Ross Barkley and Callum Hudson-Odoi struck second half goals as the west London club eased into the next round.

Their reward for their victory is a tricky tie against Dynamo Kiev.

The first leg will be played at Stamford Bridge on March 7, with the return leg in Ukraine the following leg.

The other English representatives in the draw, Arsenal, will play French club Rennes for a place in the quarter-finals.

In the last 32, Arsenal recovered from a first leg deficit against BATE, winning 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.

Arsenal will travel to France for the first leg before welcoming Rennes to the Emirates Stadium the following week.

One man that would be happy with Arsenal's draw is Petr Cech.

The Czech Republic goalkeeper spent two seasons at Rennes before leaving for Chelsea in 2004.

He took to Twitter to thank Andres Palop, the man who drew the two clubs together.

Elsewhere, Napoli will play RB Salzburg, while Sevilla will contest Slavia Prague for a place in the last 8.

Inter Milan and Frankfurt have been drawn together while Valencia will play Russian side Krasnador.
