Brendan Rodgers has left Celtic and is set to replace Claude Puel at Leicester City.This is according to reports in Scotland, including the Glasgow Evening Times, who claim Kolo Toure and assistant Chris Davies will join Rodgers at the Premier League club. The news has also been confirmed by the Mirror.Neil Lennon, meanwhile, will take over from Rodgers at Celtic Park until the end of the season.Puel was sacked by Leicester after 16 months in charge of the club following Saturday’s 4-1 home defeat against Crystal Palace.The Foxes, who go head-to-head against Brighton on Tuesday night, currently sit 12th in the Premier League table, eight points outside the bottom three.Rodgers returns to English football, three-and-a-half years after being replaced by Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager.The Northern Irish coach, 46, has also managed in the Premier League with Swansea City.Reacting to the news, former Celtic striker Chris Sutton tweeted: "Neil Lennon looks like he’s back in at Celtic... Brendan Rodgers off to Leicester... surprising timing for Brendan to leave now and not in the summer..."

Rodgers has enjoyed plenty of success during his time in Scotland, winning back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles and Scottish Cups.

He also led the Bhoys to three successive Scottish League Cup wins.

However, Rodgers clearly feels he's taken the Scottish giants as far as he can and will now aim to help Leicester secure a top-half finish during the final months of the 2018-19 campaign.
