Alisson Becker has been an inspired signing for Liverpool this season.

Despite arriving for a then world-record fee for a goalkeeper, it never seemed as though the Reds had overpaid and it took just a few Premier League appearances for him to vindicate the price-tag.

The Brazilian has marked a significant improvement upon Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet, leading the Golden Glove standings by three clean sheets having amassed a total of 15.

Along with the vital signing of Virgil van Dijk, the arrival of Alisson has strengthened the spine of a Liverpool team challenging for the Premier League title.

Whether or not Jurgen Klopp's men will hold off Manchester City's challenge remains to be seen, but any success will have some superb Alisson performances at the heart of it.

Alisson's superb form this season

And there's good reason to think that Alisson has already won Liverpool a sizeable amount of points this season.

Aside from his incredible distribution and competent cross-claiming, his shot-stopping has bailed out Liverpool on a number of occasions during closely-contested fixtures.

That was even apparent this weekend when Alisson superbly denied Jesse Lingard in arguably the biggest chance of the game at Old Trafford.

Moments Alisson has rescued Liverpool

But that certainly wasn't the first time it's happened this season and a video from Liverpool fan 'FCHD Football' has sought to prove that.

The compilation - titled '10 Times Alisson Becker Saved Liverpool' - shows occasions where Alisson has come to Liverpool's rescue when the game is goalless or they're maintaining a narrow lead.

Certain moments will be easily recalled by supporters, but seeing them all in one place really puts Alisson's influence on the team into perspective.

Take a look at all his game-saving moments down below:

When Liverpool need Alisson the most, he delivers huge saves.

The Brazilian has certainly made mistakes this season but the amount of times he's saved Liverpool from dropping points has far outweighed those disappointing instances.

Even if you focus on the negatives, though, it has to be imagined that Karius would have made more mistakes over the same period of time, even if the Champions League final is a harsh example.

Liverpool have faltered with draws against West Ham, Leicester and United recently but still maintain a one-point lead at the top of the table.

It could be one of the closest title races in recent memory and Klopp will need his goalkeeper to keep producing those vital saves when it goes down to the wire.
