Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels hit their finishers on Jinder Mahal after WWE Raw

WWE fans who watched Monday Night Raw live at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta this week were treated to a very strange dark segment after the show went off the air.

Raw went off the air this week with fans in disbelief after Batista returned to the WWE, attacked Ric Flair during his birthday celebrations backstage, and called out Triple H.

The Game ran to the back to The Nature Boy, leaving all WWE legends Ricky Steamboat, Sting, Kurt Angle, and Shawn Michaels who were there to celebrate Flair's birthday in the middle of the ring as the screen went to black.

WWE has released footage of what happened in the ring after the show went off the air, as an altercation occurred between Jinder Mahal, The Singh Brothers, and the WWE legends left in the ring.

Jinder and The Singh Brothers came into the ring and announced a Punjabi party and began to dance. HBK and The Olympic Hero, however, were not fans of their intrusion.

Michaels stunned The Modern Day Maharaja with a Sweet Chin Music before Angle put him through the cake on the table with an Angle Slam. The other Legends helped take out The Singh Brothers.

Despite the happy dark segment ending to Raw, fans inside the arena on the night were probably disappointed that they never got to see Flair in the flesh after he had been advertised for the show for the past three weeks.

While Michaels and Angle are regulars around the WWE scene, Sting and Steamboat are not. It would have been great to see them perform their finishers on Mahal and/or The Singh Brothers.

This was also the first time Batista had been seen in the WWE since he appeared in the ring alongside Triple H, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton as Evolution at the SmackDown 1000 celebrations in October.

He also teased a match with The Game here, but The Nature Boy cooled them both down.

Now, it looks like Batista and Triple H will meet in the ring later this year for a match at WrestleMania 35. A match that could potentially be Batista's last before retirement as well.
