Never before in the Premier League had Manchester United and Liverpool played out a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford prior to Sunday's stalemate. In a game that was dominated by injuries - United made all three substitutions before half-time, while Liverpool made one - neither side were able to break the deadlock.Liverpool's front three of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane all had poor games, while Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku both struggled for the home team.It says a lot that the most intriguing moment of the game happened in the 72nd minute, when Jurgen Klopp and Jordan Henderson had a small falling out on the touchline. After being replaced with Xherdan Shaqiri, Henderson appeared to ignore Klopp's handshake and walk straight to the bench.

But Klopp being Klopp, he went after Liverpool's captain and reprimanded him for not shaking his hand.

Liverpool's manager has since insisted it was nothing more than a "misunderstanding" and that Henderson was saying thank you to the travelling fans.

"In terms of the situation, it was a pure misunderstanding. That's clear," said Klopp. "For me, when a player leaves the pitch, it's clear, we shake hands.

"But I'm in the situation as well. I didn't say you have to wait for me until I look at you again as I was with Shaq talking and then Hendo left. He was saying thank you to the crowd.

"I thought he didn't [go to shake hands] and that's why I turned and told him to [go back and shake my hand].

"But everyone else told me 'no, no, no, he wanted to shake your hand but you were not ready'. That's how a misunderstanding works. That's all. It was nothing."

Henderson would never dream of ignoring one of Klopp's handshakes and now one football fan has transcribed their altercation.

In the video below, Klopp supposedly says to Henderson, "You ignored me!" to which Henderson says, "I was clapping the fans," and Klopp responds, "But you didn't touch/clap my hand!"

Definitely a misunderstanding. Klopp demands respect from all of his players, regardless of the decisions he makes, and Henderson has never been one to show disrespect.

Let that be a lesson to you, Jordan: never ignore Jurgen Klopp.
