Mesut Ozil has returned to the fold at Arsenal in recent weeks.

The star midfielder has had a tough season since Unai Emery took over at the Emirates last summer and has often found himself benched, or left out of the team completely.

Since the start of 2019, Ozil has missed five of the Gunners eight Premier League games, but he returned to the starting 11 against Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

And it’s fair to say he made his mark on the game. Arsenal won 5-1, with the German opening the scoring after just four minutes, before assisting a teammate later on.

His classy performance on the night left fans wondering exactly why he's struggled to get into Emery's squad so much this season, with many hoping the game will be a turning point for him.

Even though he hasn't been a starter much this year, Ozil certainly didn't lack confidence upon his return, as evidenced by his fourth-minute finish.

The captain used his trademark 'bounce' technique to deliciously chip the ball over Cherries goalkeeper Artur Boruc, who was left hapless on the ground.

Replays showed just how unique his finish was, as Ozil kicked down on the ball, causing it to bounce up in the air and over a diving Boruc's head.

It's a skill that when done right, completely fools the keeper and looks brilliant in the process.

And following Ozil's latest finish, an Arsenal fan has created a video that shows a number of times that the midfielder has made opponents look silly with the 'bounce' technique.

Check it out below.

As you can see, Ozil has been doing this for years and it's not just keepers that he fools either.

After his superb display against Bournemouth, the midfielder might soon be regularly featuring for the Gunners again, meaning fans should get to see his skill more often.
