Manchester United would have enjoyed watching Spurs and Arsenal draw during Saturday’s early kick-off.The race for the top-four is really hotting up and United went into their home clash against Southampton knowing a win would put them back up to fourth and just three points behind Spurs. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side fell behind to an absolute screamer by young defender Yann Valery.Valery picked up the ball and smashed the ball past David de Gea from 30-yards right into the top corner. And the Saints could also have been awarded a penalty or two in the first-half.

But within 15 minutes of the restart, United were ahead.

And the first was an absolute cracker.

Diego Dalot rolled the ball to Andreas Pereira, who did the rest.

The midfielder ignored all of his teammates around him and curled the ball beautifully past Angus Gunn from 20-yards.

Tremendous.

Six minutes later, United were ahead thanks to Romelu Lukaku.

Dalot was on hand to provide another assist as Lukaku cut inside onto his right foot to fire home.

James Ward Prowse did equalise with a stunning free-kick but Lukaku's second goal of the game put United 3-2 ahead.

They travel to Paris Saint-Germain for the second-leg of their Champions League last-16 clash, trailing 2-0 from the first-leg.

They then face a trip to the Emirates to play Arsenal on Sunday before their FA Cup away match against Wolves on Friday week.

Three tough away trips in three different competitions.
