Liverpool missed the opportunity to move back above Manchester City to the top of the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.Jurgen Klopp’s men played out a 0-0 draw against local rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.Mohamed Salah produced an uncharacteristically poor performance - one of his most disappointing displays since joining Liverpool, it could be argued - and spurned the visitors’ best opportunities to seal all three points.Liverpool now sit one point behind league-leaders City, who recorded a 1-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday, with just nine matches left to play.Everton, meanwhile, went another step closer to securing a comfortable mid-table finish. The Toffees find themselves 10th in the table as things stand.

There was little controversy during Sunday’s derby, although football fans were suspicious about an incident involving Bernard and Salah at the end of the first half.

Football fans believe the diminutive Brazilian winger, who was covering his mouth, went over to Salah and asked him for his shirt.

Doing this at half-time is a bit of a no-no in the eyes of most English football fans - especially in the middle of a derby - and Salah’s reaction suggests he was happy to oblige but only once they were inside the tunnel.

Needless to say, the sight of two rivals agreeing to swap shirts - if that’s what happened, of course, it’s impossible to tell for sure - generated plenty of reaction on social media…

What do we reckon: is this acceptable behaviour or not?

Some people will think there’s nothing wrong with two players swapping shirts at half-time, even in a derby.

But for others - and we suspect this applies to the vast majority - it shouldn’t be happening.
