Ajax needed to score to have any chance of defeating Real Madrid in the Champions League after losing the first leg 2-1.
And the Dutch needed just 20 minutes to score not once, but twice at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Hakim Ziyech silenced the home crowd by opening the scoring in the seventh minute and it was 2-0 just 10 minutes later, David Neres lifting the ball over Thibaut Courtois.
But the Brazilian’s goal came courtesy of a truly sublime assist from Dusan Tadic.
The playmaker danced past Casemiro with a sublime pirouette before playing Neres in.

Neres still had work to do, and his finish was quality. But the goal was all about Tadic.
Indeed, Casemiro won’t want to watch the replays back.

Tadic also provided the assist for Ziyech’s goal as Ajax made the perfect start in Madrid.
They had their work cut out after losing in the Netherlands but Erik Ten Hag couldn’t have asked for more from his players in the opening moments of the match.
Ajax outplayed the reigning European champions and fully deserved their early lead.
They capitalised on the absence of Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, who is missing the game through suspension.
And Ten Hag realised that Los Blancos would miss their experienced centre-back.
“Sergio is the boss on the pitch and in the backline,” he said ahead of the game, per Goal.
"His absence is not only a tactical loss for them, but also mentally.
"His absence is a loss to Madrid. It is clear that without Ramos they are not going to be a better team."News Now - Sport News
