Fan footage of Lasse Schone's incredible free-kick vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid v Ajax - UEFA Champions League Round of 16: Second Leg

Real Madrid won’t be winning the Champions League for a fourth consecutive season after being humbled by Ajax at the Bernabeu.

Real could consider themselves fortunate to come away from the first-leg with a 2-1 win.

But with those two away goals, no football fan was betting against Real Madrid making the quarter-finals once again.

However, those two away goals were cancelled out within 18 minutes.

First, Hakim Ziyech gave the Dutch side hope.

Then, David Neres put Erik Ten Hag’s side ahead.

But things got even better for Ajax after the break.

Dusan Tadic - who had assisted Ajax’s two first-half goals - scored a beauty to put his side 3-0 up.

Real Madrid now needed three goals to progress.

Eight minutes later, they only needed two more. Marco Asensio gave the home side hope with 20 minutes remaining and appeared to set up a grandstand finish.

However, it took just 120 seconds for Ajax to seal the tie - and they did it in style.

Lasse Schone lined up a free-kick on the left near the touchline and, curled it over the head of Thibaut Courtois and into the back of the net.

It was unreal.

And an angle of that free-kick has emerged that makes it look even better.

Filmed by a Real Madrid fan, it shows just how good the free-kick really was - and also shows the crazy celebrations from the Ajax players.

Football - don’t you just love it?

Ajax, along with Spurs, now progress to the last eight of the competition and can now sit back and await the other six clubs that will join them.
