Real Madrid are out of the Champions League.

Los Blancos would probably have been relieved after drawing Ajax in the last 16.

On paper, they would have fancied their chances of beating the Dutch club over two legs.

And it looked as if they would cruise through to the quarter-final after winning 2-1 in Amsterdam.

However, they completely fell apart in the second leg.

Raphael Varane hit the bar in the opening stages but that was about as good as it got for Real.

They found themselves 2-0 after just 20 minutes, with Hakim Ziyech and David Neres stunning the home side.

And the away side made it three after the break as Dusan Tadic found the top corner from just outside the box.

Needing three goals with 20 minutes remaining, Marco Asensio gave the home side hope as his effort snuck past Andre Onana.

But, Lasse Schone effectively killed off the tie 2 minutes remaining as his audacious free-kick found the top corner.

Sergio Ramos will definitely regret getting booked in the final moments of the home leg.

After that game, the Spanish defender admitted that he intentionally got booked.

Ramos thought that Real Madrid were all but through and chose to be suspended for the second leg, rather than missing a game later on in the competition.

He watched the game from his personal box as his side were dismantled on Tuesday night.

But, he wasn’t just watching his team on the night.

Marca report that Ramos was actually being filmed for his documentary with Amazon.

The cameras were on Ramos throughout as they filmed the Spaniard’s reactions during the game.

Yes, you caught that right. You just couldn’t make it up.

Unfortunately, it’s extremely unlikely that his reactions will feature when his documentary is released.

But only time will tell when the documentary will be released, which is expected to be available for viewing in the summer.
