How much time will Hammers grant Avram?

West Ham will be facing Blackburn on Saturday and with rumours that Grant has been given an ultimatum, we’re all dying to see how the team will perform. It has been reported that Grant was told to win one of the next four games or he will be sacked.

We genuinely do not need all the coverage about Grant after everything with Gianfranco Zola and Alan Curbishley before that. Once upon a time, West Ham were a club known for hanging onto managers for years but times have clearly changed. It makes you wonder, is Grant the right man and should Zola have been sacked?

It’s unsettling for the players to have all of this media coverage. We’re facing manager less Blackburn who sacked Allardyce during the week. Will this have any effect on their team? We’re soon to find out. One thing’s for sure, the hammers really, really need to win. If we lose on Saturday, I’m afraid it’s not looking good and very few fans will remain positive.

No excuses can be made for our league position at the minute and we’re sick of listening to excuses after every game. That team needs a bit of motivation. Surely Grant must be worried after seeing Allardyce being sacked and Chris Houghton. Both Blackburn and Newcastle are mid-table teams, while we’re better.

Money has been promised for Grant after Christmas but will it be too late? Quite possibly. Anyway, we can see what happens after tomorrow’s game and if we lose, it’s looking like survival might just be quite the battle.
