Gennady Golovkin has become the latest top-level boxer to sign a deal with DAZN.
After months of negotiations with the streaming service, the former middleweight world champion has penned a three-year deal and will join his rival Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez on the platform.
DAZN currently have something of a monopoly at 154 pounds, also holding the rights to WBO champion Demetrius Andrade and IBF number one Daniel Jacobs.
The press release on their website explained: "The six-fight global partnership between GGG Promotions and DAZN will see Golovkin fight twice a year on the platform for the next three years.
"Unlike many of his recent bouts, Golovkin will no longer appear on pay-per-view. Instead, his fights will be available to all DAZN subscribers at no extra charge.

Golovkin signs for DAZN
"In addition, GGG Promotions will present two cards per year on DAZN beginning in 2020."
The news will reignite hopes of a trilogy with Alvarez. Golovkin retained his titles after a draw in the first bought, before succumbing to a majority decision in the rematch.
It will also encourage his hopes of become undisputed champion, with the upcoming Jacobs vs Alvarez fight guaranteeing that Golovkin would only be two fights away from all four belts.

The 36-year-old explained in his statement: “DAZN has quickly become the new home of boxing by making the biggest events easily available to the fans.
“When deciding on where I wanted to continue my career, DAZN’s global vision perfectly matched my goals – not just for my career but the opportunity to showcase talented Eastern European fighters to the world.
