Manchester United fans are probably still trying to get over their incredible comeback victory against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side trailed 2-0 from the first leg and needed a minor miracle at the Parc des Princes without 10 of their senior players. But that’s exactly what they achieved - a minor miracle.Marcus Rashford’s 94th-minute penalty saw United win 3-1 in dramatic circumstances and progress to the quarter-finals of the competition. What made the win even more impressive was the fact Solskjaer threw on 19-year-old Tahith Chong and 17-year-old Mason Greenwood for his debut when they were chasing a goal.

How about that for faith in youngsters?

It was reported earlier this week that Greenwood was expected to be attending school on Friday. But following his United debut - and the fact United won - we somehow doubt he made it.

But Greenwood’s appearance was rather unexpected.

In fact, it was so unexpected that eagle-eyed fans noticed that he actually had PSG’s lettering on his ‘Greenwood 54 shirt’

Greenwood had to use lettering from PSG’s club shop, featuring the French club’s logo and the bottom of each number.

It just makes the story of Greenwood’s dream debut even better.

Whatever he goes on to achieve in the game, nobody can take that magical night away from him.

However, it looks as though his debut is just the start of something brilliant.

Because Greenwood is extremely highly-rated at Old Trafford and is expected to be pushing for first-team appearances in the years to come.

He’ll just be hoping to have United lettering on the back of his shirt next time…
