Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday was nothing short of incredible.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was missing 10 senior players and needed to overturn their 2-0 deficit from the first leg.But they did just that in dramatic circumstances.Romelu Lukaku’s two goals sandwiched Juan Bernat’s strike to give the Red Devils hope heading into injury-time.And they got the huge slice of luck they needed when VAR awarded them a controversial penalty.
Marcus Rashford made no mistake from the penalty spot to send everyone associated with United into disbelief.
And that includes club legend Eric Cantona, who was at the Parc des Princes in attendance.
In fact, Cantona may have celebrated United’s win a bit too much because a report from RMC Sport claims that he had a bust-up with Neymar’s father - who was sitting in a nearby box.
Cantona provoked Neymar Sr. with several gestures and security guards had to step in to prevent a fight from breaking out.
After that report emerged, Cantona has now taken to Instagram to write a little message using an image of Neymar.
Cantona wrote: “Just like the barbecue, you take it out in spring when the sun begins to shine.”
It’s certainly cryptic and no-one really know what he means - but he’s clearly having a dig at Neymar and PSG.
Does he mean that like taking out the BBQ in spring, PSG always crash out of the Champions League at this time of year?
PSG have now crashed out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage three seasons in-a-row and only reached the quarter-final in the four seasons prior to that.
It’s not the first time Cantona has taken on Neymar, either.
During the World Cup, ‘The King’ filmed a video of him slamming Neymar for being an ‘actor.’
