There's bad penalties and then there's bad penalties.Over the years, we've seen players hoof spot kicks into the crowd, see their attempt comfortably saved by the goalkeeper and sent miles wide of the post. However, it's incredibly rare for a player to not even shoot... obviously.Perhaps the most famous example is Robert Pires, when he froze under pressure against Manchester City in 2005, while attempting to pass to Thierry Henry.Yet another example has emerged in the Championship this week, with Bersant Celina producing one of the worst penalties we've ever seen.

West Brom vs Swansea

The game was already getting away from Swansea City when fell behind to a goal from Chris Brunt, who fired West Brom into the lead after 19 minutes.

But they had the perfect opportunity to level the scores when the Swans were awarded a penalty.

Mike van der Hoorn drew a foul in the penalty area at the expense of Craig Dawson, with Celina assuming the responsibility to try and equalise.

What happened next has to be seen to believed as the 22-year-old made a complete mess of the shot, not even producing an effort on goal.
