Real Madrid have already announced their first major signing after Zinedine Zidane's return as manager.

The Frenchman was ushered back into the hot-seat on Monday and today, Los Blancos announced the signing of Porto defender Eder Militao - who will officially join the squad in the summer.

Signed less than a year ago from Sao Paulo, Militao has taken Liga NoS by storm and he's been a key man in Porto's run to the Champions League quarter-final.

Militao is likely seen as the long-term successor to Sergio Ramos and the Brazilian's arrival will likely see Jesus Vallejo moved on in the summer.

Real are likely to have a serious squad overhaul in the coming months, with a number of big-name players linked with the exit door.

Gareth Bale and Luka Modric are two of the most prominent, while Marcelo and Isco's places in the team under Zidane are yet to be discovered.

And it seems the new boss already has his eyes on another major signing for the summer; Lyon's Nabil Fekir.

As reported by Duncan Castles for the Daily Record, Zidane has asked Real to sign his countryman as part of his rebuild.

Fekir has just over a year left on his contract with the Ligue 1 side and he will be sold in the summer to avoid Lyon losing him on a free transfer.

Real are also still working on a deal to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, with Zidane approving both his and Militao's signings.

What it means for the likes of Eden Hazard and Christian Eriksen is still unknown.

However, given that a lot of money would be put behind the signings of Militao, Neymar and Fekir, the two Premier League boys may see their route to Madrid cut off as a result.

Real's rebuild under Zidane looks like it will be the major transfer narrative in the summer...
