Lionel Messi just continues to amaze on the football pitch. The Argentinian forward is now 31 years old but he continues to perform at a ridiculously high level. So far in his career, he has scored 588 times in 673 appearances for Barcelona.Along the way he's won won 32 major honours with his club, including four Champions League titles. Many football fans consider him to be one of the greatest of all time.

Not only is he a ridiculously good goalscorer, he also has a number of other traits to his game.

Messi is perhaps one of the best dribblers of all time, while also having incredible passing skills.

Many compilation videos have been created which show Messi's brilliance.

But one video has emerged of Messi's highlights and it may be the best one yet.

The beginning of the video begins with quotes from various big names in football, including Frank Lampard, who called him the 'most complete player of all time'.

Messi is then presented as the best dribbler of 2018/19, followed by two minutes of his best dribbles in that time.

He's then labelled the best goalscorer of the current season, before just over two minutes of his best goals this season.

The final few minutes feature his best passes and assists of the season.

That is just exquisite.

It's ridiculous that all these clips have come from the 2018/19 season alone.

Many Messi fans think it's one of the best highlights video's they have watched.

Whether you are a Cristiano Ronaldo fan or a Messi fan, you just have to appreciate what both players have been able to achieve in the game.

The Messi/Ronaldo debate was reopened once again after both player's heroics in the Champions League in mid-week.

And Jamie Carragher dubbed Ronaldo the best goalscorer of all time but Messi the greatest player.

"Ronaldo and Messi - the greatest goalscorer of all time and the greater player of all time -- show no sign of giving up their dominance of European competition, their individual displays in midweek further demonstrating their exceptional skill and motivation levels," he wrote in his column for the Daily Telegraph.

"They bring belief to their clubs and fear to opposition. The fact remains unless the English clubs can find a way to stop Ronaldo and Messi, this year's final will be Juventus versus Barcelona."
