Chelsea spurned a glorious chance to put pressure on the teams above them in the Premier League top-four race as they lost 2-0 at Everton and remain in sixth place.
In the 49th-minute, Kepa saved an initial Dominic Calvert-Lewin header from a corner kick but couldn’t stop Richarlison’s follow-up from close range.
Then, the Chelsea goalkeeper was unlucky once more when he saved Gylfi Sigurdsson’s penalty, only to see the Icelandic midfielder tap in the rebound.
Eden Hazard provided a few glimpses of his top-class quality at Goodison Park and was also involved in a pretty funny moment before the game started.
After hearing how Everton supporters at the ground reacted to seeing former player Ross Barkley, Hazard amusingly decided to join in with a sarcastic boo of his own.

Hazard frustrated during Everton 2-0 Chelsea
Maurizio Sarri’s men struggled to find their rhythm against Everton but it was Hazard, along with fellow winger Pedro, who looked the most likely to make something happen for them.
The Beglian star had a couple of chances early on – the first getting saved by Jordan Pickford and the second being a seventh-minute drive which hit the post.
Barkley gets booed on return to Everton
Prior to kick-off, with a lot of the stadium still empty, Chelsea’s starting XI emerged from the tunnel in normal fashion to go through their warm-up routine.
They came out one after the other to little reaction from the crowd, but that changed when Toffees fans spotted Ross Barkley running out, who received audible boos.
Barkley scored 27 goals in 179 matches for Everton and it marked the 25-year-old’s first return to the blue half of Merseyside since he left for west London in January 2018.

Hazard was the Chelsea player who came out of the tunnel immediately behind Barkley and he couldn’t help but have a little fun by sarcastically joining in with the boos.
As you can hear in the above video, posted by Chelsea’s official Twitter account, Hazard shouted “boo” himself before casually doing a few kick-ups.
