With the FA Cup quarter-finals taking place, there were only five Premier League games over the course of the weekend.

That meant that Fantasy Football managers across the country had to be savvy, with none of the big-hitters from Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United in action.

There were still 19 goals scored in an action-packed set of fixtures, but points, on the whole, were hard to come by.

Let's take a look through at who the top scoring players were this week.

Josh King (13 points)

Bournemouth’s Norwegian forward took his tally to 11 in the Premier League, after striking twice against Newcastle in an exciting game.

King has surpassed his total of eight last campaign and has proved to be a steady point scorer for the 7% of players who have him in their side.

Having registered 123 points so far this season and with a favourable set of fixtures for the Cherries in the upcoming weeks, don’t be surprised to see King included in a lot more teams, especially at just £6.5 million.

Karlan Grant (13 points)

The surprise package this gameweek was unquestionably Huddersfield Town’s Karlan Grant.

The forward was signed from Charlton in January and marked his third start in the competition with an impressive brace, including a curling effort into the top corner from outside of the box.

With only ten points to his name before this gameweek and 0% of players having him in their team, it’s fair to say that Grant is an unknown to the players of Fantasy Football.

However, if he keeps putting performances in like this he will be impossible to ignore.

Sadio Mané (13 points)

If Grant is an unknown then Mané is precisely the opposite.

With 31.3% of players selecting the Senegalese midfielder, he is a reliable point scorer for a large number of players.

Mané’s form over the past months has been spectacular and he continued that at Craven Cottage on Sunday, netting the first himself before winning the penalty that James Milner converted to give Liverpool the three points.

Mané has been one of the most consistent midfielders in the game this season, registering 17 goals, and with Liverpool battling for the title Mané is likely to add to that total.

Javier Hernandez (12 points)

The West Ham forward rewarded the 2% of players that picked him this week, scoring two in the Hammers’ 4-3 comeback win against Huddersfield.

The brace took his tally to seven in the Premier League for what has become a frustrating season for the Mexican, with starts proving hard to come by.

Chicharito continues to be a risky pick, with his two goals on Saturday again coming from the bench.

With starts a rarity for Hernández, don’t be surprised to see him amongst the substitutes again next gameweek.

Kepa Arrizabalaga (11 points)

It proved to be a disappointing day for the Chelsea ‘keeper on Sunday, with his side falling to a 2-0 defeat.

However, the Spaniard did score highly, making six saves to give him a two point bonus, one being from a penalty to give him an extra boost.

Chelsea have kept 12 clean sheets this term, with Kepa providing 11 of them, and with the Blues travelling to Cardiff before hosting West Ham in their next two games, the Chelsea stopper could be one to look at.
