Lionel Messi was at his brilliant best during Real Betis 1-4 Barcelona at the weekend.
In a week that had already seen him tear Lyon apart, the 31-year-old delivered a masterclass at the Benito Villamarin Stadium, helping himself to one of the greatest hat-tricks of his career.
Messi has established himself as one of the best free-kick takers in the world recently and continued his brilliant vein of form with another fine set-piece goal.
He then doubled his tally with a confident finish past Pau Lopez, but it was his third goal that will be remembered for years and will feature on Messi compilations upon his retirement.
The Argentine literally left other players in shock when he delivered a remarkable chip into the far top corner and was duly applauded by the home fans.

Messi applauded vs Betis
It was an incredible finish and Messi was overwhelmed by the response, explaining: “I don’t remember (a rival player being applauded like that) and I’m very grateful with the reaction of the fans.
"Every time we come to this stadium, they treat us really well. Very grateful and happy for the win, which was very important.”
Messi has built something of a reputation for chipped or lobbed finishes throughout his career and the strike at Betis will undoubtedly endure as one of the best.
Compilation of Messi's best chips
However, there have been many more fine examples across Messi's appearances with Argentina and Barcelona, from impudent one-on-one finishes to more audacious strikes.
And it seems there's no better opportunity to reflect upon Messi humiliating goalkeepers than after his heroics at the weekend.
It doesn't take long to find a compilation of his greatest chipped finishes, but one particular video - originally created by 'Messi Magic' - puts his incredible highlights into perspective.

Goalkeepers never learn, do they?
It seems whenever the goalkeeper dares to shuffle forward from his goal-line, that Messi is always watching closely and weighing up whether to go for the chip.
More often than not, Messi uses the tactic when he's clean through on goal and even top shot-stoppers like Manuel Neuer have been fooled by the trademark strike.
Weighting the ball perfectly is certainly not an easy task and there are very few players in world football who attempt chips as often as Messi.
Yet, there can be little doubting that his goals tally would be that little bit smaller if it wasn't for his ability to leave goalkeepers looking up at the stars.
Don't worry Lopez, you weren't the first and you certainly won't be the last.
